Welcome and invite sent to join Devast's Dark Omen Reborn UE4 remake project

We've got hundreds of 3d Warhammer models from 3 Total War Warhammer mods (The Sundering, Call of Warhammer/Rage of the Gods, The End of Times) and loads more models from Return of Reckoning (Warhammer online remake), pretty much every character from every race available with permission to use them. Same goes for over 10,000 Warhammer scenery objects (Fortresses, Huts, Trees from all different Races' lands).

Hi and welcome,

you will need the English UK version of the CD and then follow the install guide ->

However, you do then say ->

" I managed to get the mod version (PRG_ENG) by updating the registry and running it as admin, now it looks like this:"

So looks like you just need to set the colour to 16bit to stop the flickering as detailed in step 4) of the guide.

4) To avoid screen Flickering on Windows 7 = set your Desktop Screen Resolution to 16bit colour and for Win8.1/10 open your new PRG_ENG folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Dark Omen\ and right click on the new Win8.1/10 & 3d enabled EngRel.exe -> Properties and set its compatibility settings to Run As Administrator, 640x480 and to run in 16bit colours

Merry Christmas! Will be another great year for Dark Omen thanks to Illidan's new High Elves and more in the latest mod pack. Plus the Dark Omen Reborn remake project is looking and playing fantastically. Devast3d is now working on the combat along with Evgen.

Aqrit or Ghabry, is there any chance you could increase the amount of xslots for sprites and 3d heads please, as we've got loads more characters and races to add.

After some help deciphering the portrait .seq and .key animations please, found in

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Dark Omen\Graphics\PORTRAIT\SCRIPT

Will start off by watching visible differences on the ingame portraits when using 1.seq and 2.seq etc.. to understand their data
