I just digged a little in the army files, and here is what I found :
- Halberdiers Vs Greatswords (here : http://forum.dark-omen.org/empire/countess-guards-vs-greatswords-t199.0.html )
- Ogres. Forget the description, they do not cause fear. They have absolutly no psychology at all.
- Mercenary Cavalry vs Knights of the Realm. They are exactly the same (cost stats etc), but the mercenaries have +1 in initiative.

Sadly I like the look of these knights Sad

I hope it'll help you to build stronger armies !

First test with Bemb : epic win !

Now I'm gonna do the other races, and see if everybody is alright to use these new rules for the tournament.

Bemb thniks that the -1/+1 adjustment is not good.

I'm looking into HU_ALLMP.AUD, they both have a weapon skill of 3 !

But I also see that there is really a "polearm/two handed weapon", so I think what I said earlier is true.

Sadly I don't have any access to the download plateform on the website, so here comes the megaupload :

Paste the file into :

A copy of the original files is available on the website, don't worry.

Looks like it works... I can see the new units in the book.
I changed :
- number of dudes
- coins value
- maximum ranks
- unit names
My old armies files are not corrupted.

I'm going right now to the chat to find a victim.
