Rules

Players must use the 9 Default provided armies (Warriors of sigmar, etc), download is attached to this post.

A player gets a point if he wins a battle

Draws are not counted

Use the !Dice chat command to pick a random map

If you lose the battle, the army you played with is eliminated from all further matches regardless of opponent.

If possible a player must try not to use the same race or army twice against the same player.

You can only play up to 3 matches against another participant until you have played all opponents, at which time you may play another 3 matches, until all you armies or opponents are eliminated.

Late joinings are fine but you are unlikely to do as well as only the tougher armies will be left Smiley plus your armies dont win points for surviving just winning.

Please post your resutls including which armies won/lost in the forum so its easier to keep track of.

The patch does not include map patches, please install those if u havn't already.

The games we played of this were quick and fun (we sometimes forget sometimes bigger isn't better), i'd like to try it as a full blown tournament.

However some of the default sides are lacking while others are to powerful.  If people are willing i'd like to alter the default armies to...   (+ indicates a change)

Warriors of Sigmar
Bright Wizard
Imperial Bowmen +1B/S
Pistoliers +1B/S
Merc Cavalry
+Flagellants

Defenders Of The Realm
Knights Of the Realm +Immune to fear
Imperial Cannon +1B/S
Flagellants
Bowmen +1B/S
Greatswords

Kurtz's Redhammers
Imperial Halberdiers
Ice mage + lvl 2
Imperial Mortar
Merc Swordsmen
Pistoliers
Merc Crossbow

Gnashrak's Boyz
Night Goblin Archers
Night Goblins
Orc Arrer Boys
Orc Boar Boys
Orc Big Uns + immune to fear
Orc Shamen +lvl 2

Waaagh! Urgat
Gigantic Spider
Orc Boar Boyz
Orc Boyz
Orc Big’uns + immune to fear
Orc Rock Lobber
Orc Big’uns
+Troll

The Gutrippas
Night Goblin Archers
Night Goblins + Fanatics
Night Goblin Shamen
Orc Boar Boyz
Orc Boyz
Orc Bolt Thrower + 1 B/S
Orc rock Thrower
Orc Bolt Thrower + 1 B/S

The Dark legion
Necro
Skele Archers
Skele Horse
Black Grail -2Units -1Wound
+Zombies +immune to fear

Brotherhood Of The Shroud
Vampire -1M
Ghouls
Screaming Skull
Skele Horse
Skele Warriors
+Zombies +immune to fear

Company Of Woe
Ghouls
Necromancer
Screaming Skull
Skeleton Archers
Skeleton Horsemen
+Wights
+Zombies +immune to fear

The balancings are rough but it should do.  I've tried for no regiment repeats, 5 to 7 regiments, and no massive changes.  I'll release them as a zip, but comments are welcome before I do.

We should play in December I think.

Maybe players need a break after that long Conquestday.

I would like to mention using FO mod myself and BrinMilo had many excellent 3000 gold sized games. We LOVED these small games and played many of them.  This might be the easiest class of games to balance. Elite units are expensive and are prone to being outnumbered but can decimate standard units. On the other side of things in small games you can actually outnumber your opponent and make it count for soemthing. In larger games outnumbering is useless due to the 10 unit cap. If you choose mass over class you will not succeed as I proved in FO tournament this weekend where at one time I had 4 units of lvl 4 goblins fleeing.

Certainly a possibility thou default armies save alot of pissing around and allow for a rapid series of games to be played.

Re fair omen
Maybe the solution is to +60 gp ghouls, mummies and bgk.  Then Go thou all units (all races) and +30% them all.  You'd still get 4 different ranges of armies but at 9k the superunits wouldnt be so bad as the undead will have a harder time supporting them.  Items could prob remain the same price.

We already use Fair Omen for Conquest Tournaments, so I prefer to use/test other Mods/Balances available, on our monthly Normal Tournaments. Ultimately its just great to see many players regulary meeting up and Battling online and i look forward to testing out this latest idea.

Hey, Darkmancer!

I've just installed DO again, and I wanna have some practice. So I want to play a little match with my friend using your Ruleset.

I just want to ask — is it enough to over-write your army-list over default one? Is this all I need to do?
Don't I need any patches?
