Hi everybody !

I'm LPB from Belgium, i saw this site when i was looking thrue topics in the Empyrian Rule forum where Olly posted something about a Dark Omen site...
I was really excited because i LOVED to play DO as a teenager (on my 2.1 HDD pc...)    Wink
My question now is (i'm a compleet computer noob) can i play DO on this site or is it just a fan site ?
I stil have my original DO cd-rom but i cant play it anymore, i think the drivers are to out off date...
Thats a pitty because i would really like to re-play the game once,
the whole campaign.

Welcome,

Dark Omen will now run on Windows XP, Vista,7/8 64bit and even in 3d mode

http://forum.dark-omen.org/help-section/ultimate-dark-omen-xpvistawin7-game-fixes-t111.0.html

and we all play multiplayer via Game Ranger (Our member Sparkee is currently hosting an online multiplayer campaign where he plays the enemy AI which is great fun)

http://forum.dark-omen.org/multiplayer/gameranger-a-new-place-to-play-dark-omen-online-t157.0.html

Thanks to a great Mod team, Dark Omen now has many mod tools and an in game Mod selector for new maps, new armies, new campaigns and meeting/talking scenes, so we are combining it all to make a complete Dark Omen 2 and loads of other quality mods, even 40k!

Empyrean Rule looks to be a great spiritual successor since the creators loved Dark Omen and really know their tactical gaming. As they say "Imagine Lord of the Rings (Dark Omen) crossed with Eve Online!
