I wonder if someone can help: I've just downloaded and installed per the excellent instruction post and everything has worked fine. However, once in the game menu, I can't select anything using the mouse (or any of the keyboard keys as far as I can tell).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - I'm pretty psyched to play this again for the first time since about 2002.

Hi and welcome. Try dgvoodoo2 setup and don't Alt Tab.
