Hey all,

nice to see that this old, yet great and innovative game is still doing well considering.
specially because nostalgy hit me not to long ago and got me craving for this game.
The sad part here however is that I've found the game, but I'm experiencing the following problem:
the game installs perfectly and works fine untill i get to the main menu, in here the mouse can still move, but can't be used to click anything and im forced to close Dark Omen with either alt+f4 or ALT+CTRL+DEL and close process.
(my OS is windows xp, 32 bit - in case required)
(I've tried:   - 'The Intro Crash Fix' = no results
                 - Re-installing the game = the same problem)
If any1 got any advise/suggestions/tips on how to try and resolve this it would be most appreciated.

Greets,
Loonatic

Hi and welcome,

Try Alt Tabbing out of the game and then back onto the main menu.

I've also tried that ,aswell as alt+tab during the intro movie, neither of these are helping.
I read+tried the things mentioned for windows XP on the 'Ultimate Dark Omen Game Fixes' without any result
(btw thanks for the fast responce)

ok so dont ask me why... but all of a sudden the game is working!!! :DDDD
I just gave it another try, after rebooting my comp.
I honestly have no clue what solved it... im just glad it got solved  Tongue
my best speculations would be:
-there may have been interference as sometimes when i refresh my I-net connection, the pop-up that shows up, does not want to dissapear, so i hide it behind 'the taskbar' (if that is what its called in english > the bar on ur desktop with 'start' on it) and it is advised to close other programs
-there may have been a program running silently in the background (that i was unaware of) that caused problems
(in case any1 else gets this problem: these are just my best guesses, im not sure what caused this or what fixed it, except for just rebooting)
(my mouse is a Logitech m235 btw)
