Have been adding the Troop Stats and Sprite into the Army Books, to assist with comparing all the new Troops we have added into the Dark Omen 2 Mod template, such as Dark Elves, Skaven, High Elves, Dwarves and Woods Elves.

Using Wh32Editv2 to view the stats
https://en.dark-omen.org/downloads/view-details/1.-modding-tools/2.-army-editors/wh32edit-v2.html

RDose to view the sprites
https://en.dark-omen.org/downloads/view-details/1.-modding-tools/3.-sprite-editors/rdose.html

and finally edit the original Troop pictures, to move around and make space to then add their stats and sprite.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Dark Omen\Mods\Dark Omen 2\Graphics\Books\Troops

Olly is somewhere a table of all unit's stats?
In manual there is just simple description of units without some numeric stats.

There used to be a link to it within this wiki article, so I will investigate why it no longer links to it.

In the meantime there's always ->

Dear Olly,
Did you manage to store somewhere those pictures so that it is always live during the game?
Thanks!

Hi, they're still available in the Dark Omen 2 mod, so you could copy and paste them into your original folder.

Hello olly,

can you provide a in depth guide how to do that?
So that the unit stats appear in the main game, and maybe all the other mods as well?
I really like looking at the stats in the troops overview to compare them, but there are so many files and folders, I dont know where to put what? I found the Dark Omen 2 folder but what can i safely copy paste?

Hi,

I've amended the first post to include the tools required to view their stats and sprites, to then manually add to their original Troop pictures, found in

C:\Program Files (x86)\Dark Omen\Graphics\Books\Troops

Thank you olly,
so in essence I only had to edit the pictures which I have done now. I didnt include the mini-sprites but the stats are now visible. I also rearranged some pictures to get them more in focus, sometimes I had to make em smaller to fit.
For war-machines I added their seperates values (under L: (Leader). So you have the machine and the crew values.

Also I'm not sure if all values are correct (simple mistakes) and because the campaign units are sometimes different than the multiplayer units (Grailknights for example have more toughness in the campain T_GRAILK.BMP).

Some units I couldnt find all together, like the imperial swordmen (T_IMPSWD.BMP) or the Reiks-Knights (T_REIKS.BMP). So I just used some values I thought would fit. Smiley

I made a zip file for download.
Just copy paste them into C:\Program Files (x86)\Dark Omen\Graphics\Books\Troops

edit: made a mistake with the fanatics/flagelants, corrected the zip.
edit2: changed Orc Boys Movement from 6 to 4

That's great work, well done and thanks. I will add it to all the multiplayer mods, in the next release. Would be fantastic if you could help me complete all the new Dark Omen 2 mod ones, referencing their rulebooks, please.
