You'd better feel like it hehe. The big problem with Ruleset is that almost nobody reads my detailed document Sad

I know the basics are "lets have fun this day! go edit and play", but imagine if I play NewBalance and edit 5 elite regiments (because of havent read the edition rules).

In 1st sentences of Tournament part (doc) is explained:
When a Gold Limit Voting ends in draw, the highest value wins.
To participate, you must make 3 Armies, 1 of each Race with the Gold Limit.

The decision of "max 1 army per race" was because:

1)Makes players to have armies strong/weak VS... something particular.
Avoids players for having "HU vs HU, HU vs GS, HU vs UD, and etc same with GS vs all, UD vs. all.

2)Makes "Armybuild posts" smaller, posting 1 army per player, if players uploaded 3 armies etc..
Isnt nice to look so many banners per same player, makes it boring to look (general psycho reaction).

DO YOU AGREE WITH THIS GUYS??

(or prefer unlimited lists? Tell opinions right now)

Never expect people to read the readme file,  especially a 4 page essay Smiley

I skimmed though it but misunderstood "To participate, you must make 3 Armies, 1 of each Race with the Gold Limit.
"  to mean create at least 1 army of each which is fairly standard for most tournaments.

As a counter point, you can often find in the first game your army simply doesn't work, if your not allowed to change it, you might as well just quit and resign the tournament for that month.  Not especially fun.

Though the reasons for the rule are valid so it probobly should stand.

Minor Balance Opinions:
Calv a bit too cheap
Lvl 1 & 2 mages a bit expensive
I know your trying to keep rules too a min but I'd like to see a max 3 of a unit limit, otherwise armies can get cheesey.

Dont know if u are aksing bit more expensive the mages, or saying they ARE bit expensive Cheesy

About cavalries I will do them a bit more expensive, I agree with that.

The DOC explains the changes from DO to FO, also gives details of regiments, i understand many skip it, the important part is at last page, tournament sheet.

-Max 1 army per race: yes i know the disadvantage of having shitty army from start, because that was my problem too. But at the same time consider that everyone may have a "bad list army", not only you.

I saw your UD list wasnt good, but could have beaten my GS, which were really weak also.
You see the worst list is never used in the "best of 3 matches" 1-1 and continue.

why so?  its very fine for me. more armies = more builds = more understanding of player lacks and how to use it Cheesy

and actually more to think for new players!

P.S. i  thin kwe better mvoe discussion to oher topics ;-)

About the 3 armies or more, I never specified it in the Tournament Rules how many was allowed so ofcz when not specified in the tournament rules we cannot blame anyone for using more. Regardless of what the readme says. We also used different maps than the readme says.
If you guys want me to specify how many armies are allowed then i will, in the past with 3k-10-5k-15 there has been the 3 only rule.

i think max 1 army per race is good, the advantage and disadvantages for each army is best for tournmaents.
if u have a weak army, so use it at last, as reserve in case of draw.. i guess you wont be the only one with a crappy edited army.
