Instructions
1. download the mod
2. copy the mod files over existing DO install
3.  launch Ill omens
4. Click modify Dark Omen
5. Click new army (BP)
6. Create at least 1 army for each race. (To sell a unit in Ill omens click and drag the unit to the purse.)
- Don't forget Green skins have 15 units the others 10.
7. Play Dark Omen Smiley

If I'll Omens won't launch and you have windows xp it's likely you need to install microsoft .net (alot of games come with it anyway now).  You can down load it here:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992&displaylang=en

If that fails I've included a already modified version of engrel, and you'll have to use the army builder that comes with the game.  (this is not as good as there are several bugs, which are made worse by the BP mod).

If something goes wrong

If you want to modify the none default Dark Omen (i.e. you'vee multiple installs) click change directory.

Navigate to the dark omen folder you wish to use, then select the exe you wish to modify.  Then click the modify dark omen button.

BP is as much about using tactics to to neutrilse the enemy super units as controling you own...

Immune to fear and Immune to magic are important!
Immune to magic is not 100% effective (about 95%)

Empire
Don't over do ranged units, though they (longbow, muskets) have decent combat stats legionaires are damned good infantry.

Try and get cannon balls to go thou units, an explosion near a zombie/mummy causes 1 wound.  The cannon ball going though them = insta death.

Make sure to take at least 2 magic immune units.

Keep the steam tanks magic shield up as much as possible - it blocks melee and magic attacks.

Undead
Keep anti magic units away from your main unit.
Have at least 2 hell gates
Use raise the dead to pin the enemies main units,  then use you super units to wipe out anything not magic/fear immune.
Keep track of your main unit and keep replacing the raise the dead the enemy destroys.
Keep chariots back and use them to flank units that aint immune to fear, chariots are delicate units, don’t waste them.
Wights are easily destroyed, but they can hack though anything.  Pin the enemy flank with wights.
Souless are wraiths and have elven bow!  They are better in h2h than the stats show, and the freeze spell is deadly.  Be warned though it can hit you own units.  The big draw back is the lack of a raise the dead spell.

Greenskin
The Greenskins auto deploy due to having 15 units, however you are still allowed to rotate and give orders to these units prior to starting the match

Use gobos for their anti magic, speed and ranged firepower.

Use Orcs for muscle.  Savage orcs are magic and missile immune.  But they are not very brave, use them to support other troops.  Have at least 2 big unz, fists of mork is usually key to greenskins wins.

Scorpians are the toughest unit ingame, it takes str 5 to even hurt them.  Use then to wipe out the enemies weaker units with out loss.

Spiders – very quick, and the blizzard spell can be very useful to pin the enemy (doesn’t stop teleport thou).  They are not great in melee thou

What do you mean where is Undead?

Anyway heres a small gfx patch, no stat changes just replacing the flag zombies use so its different to "raise the dead" unit flags.

hey Darkmancer, did you managed to fix that bug that causes crashes in UD ? or did it occur only while playing me ?

yes I believe so, I've played tons of games vs Olly which don't crash with the changes.  I keep looking for others to test against but nobody seems to be online ever to test against.

uploaded new version i'll update tables tomorrw, thou not much changed.  (elf wiz has woj, steam tank more attacks but less w/s & - 1w, + few other minor changes)
