Looks really cool. I have not played Total War but I am positive I will try this one as it is released Smiley Also, my bro is a Table Top 40k fan and also played Total War a lot, so he's anticipating Warhammer Total War now Wink

Just curious what Dark Omen fans think of upcoming TW Warhammer based on all these sneak-peek videos?

Personally for me it looks like reskinned Attila with some new mechanics ofc but still nothing significantly new. We will see soon whether it is bad or good but it is already pity that battle mechanic will unlikely to be close to tabletop.

I loved original Shogun and Mongol addon but then played Rome to death and found all the others to be too similar and lacking the essentials that are found in Dark Omen, such as magic and intercept shots etc. Therefore I'm really hoping their Warhammer game will be different and more like a Dark Omen sequel/TableTop (especially since I paid loads for the Dwarf pack pre-order and can't wait for my Grudge ring and drinking horn! lol). However, I know I will probably get bored of it and will of course always prefer Dark Omen which is why we continue to expand it even further.

It will certainly be the closest we will ever get to our dreams until we make our own Dark Omen 2.

Great game so far and my only slight criticism is the simplified banners that should display more elaborate artwork but I guess they needed to keep it simply for new players.
