Title: Mark Of Chaos Map Modding

****UPDATED BETA GUIDE - Thanks to Illidan ****

Convert Mark of Chaos (MoC)  and Battle March (BM) maps to DO

1) Download and extract MoC BM DO Maps
2) Select a map, for example MoC BM DO Maps\expansion_multiplayer_1
3) Open expansion_multiplayer_1_normal.dds with Photoshop to view the whole map, since all the other textures in the folder are map tiles, that will be joined together to form the whole map.
4) Use Photoshop to open each map tile and convert them by -> Save as .BMP and 24bit into a new folder such as MoC BM DO Maps\expansion_multiplayer_1\BMP
5) After all map tiles (16 for this whole map) have been converted to Bitmap images, use Photoscape to Combine them all together

6) Rearrange them in order and Save As expansion_multiplayer_1_normal_t000_000All.BMP
7) Open this new file in Irfan View and Image -> Resize to 2816 x 2816 pixels and save as expansion_multiplayer_1_normal_t000_000All2816.BMP
8 ) Use Photoscape to Split the new image into 22 Columns by 22 Rows (128x128 cells) and Save into a new folder -> MoC BM DO Maps\expansion_multiplayer_1\BMP\DO
9) Use Irfan View to Batch Conversion/Rename and Save all 484 files into BMP 256 color to a new folder such as C:\Program Files (x86)\Dark Omen\Mods\Dark Omen 2\GAMEDATA\1pbat\B6_01\TEXTURE\NewFolder(3)
10) Save and then replace any previous modded tiles within the TEXTURE and LTEXTURE folders of your mod and then copy the new 484 files into those folders. 000.bmp -> 483.bmp
11) Start game to preview the new map in 3d and CPU mode

Just tidying up the lines in the map that are caused by Bleeding Textures

So I scale down the UV texture by 1 pixel which appears to fix it (Remember to reconvert BASE.M3D into BASE.M3X for the changes/fixes to be seen)

Have fixed up to Row6, so area beneath the red arrow is now free of Bleeding textures, that was causing visible lines to appear on the map, especially in CPU mode.

Finished fixing all 484 tiles (22 x 22) for Mod map, so bleeding texture grid lines no longer appear in CPU & 3d mode.

Created some hills on 6_MoCMulti5 mod map and then imported its Height Map into B6_01.prj from the new BASE.m3d & BASE.m3x

Everything works perfectly in CPU & 3d like Line of Sight and troop movement, so we will now have 24 brand new maps for the Dark Omen 2 mod!

I've now added all new maps into Dark Omen 2 mod for both Single & Multiplayer but they will still need some height map generating after adding hills etc.. and then we can build up a library of scenery models to deploy and add BTB boundaries around them.
