Title: let's talk about multiplayer maps Post by: illidan on January 27, 2016, 02:22:01 PM when I played the board game, I loved playing on symmetrical battlefield, because in a such asymetrical game like warhammer it was maybe the only way to said : ' well we both have the same card in hand as we have the same opportunity to deploy our troops ' so why not make some multiplayer maps like this : [attachment=1] [attachment=2] [attachment=3] [attachment=4] the pdf file : https://www.dropbox.com/s/9f80nqhbl3t3nbt/Maps%20ETC%202015%20Norwegian%20Alternative.pdf?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/9f80nqhbl3t3nbt/Maps%20ETC%202015%20Norwegian%20Alternative.pdf?dl=0) https://www.dropbox.com/s/2841wzrpdhtyuol/Maps%20ETC%202015%20Norwegian%20Alternative%20(Deployment%20zones).pdf?dl=0 (https://www.dropbox.com/s/2841wzrpdhtyuol/Maps%20ETC%202015%20Norwegian%20Alternative%20(Deployment%20zones).pdf?dl=0) Title: Re: let's talk about multiplayer maps Post by: olly on January 27, 2016, 02:28:42 PM Totally agree that all maps should be fairly symetrical to balance. Great to see your overhead map plans, as really helps when making the 3d ones later, if you already have the basic layouts.
I've nearly finished the 3d head Blender guide which will lead nicely into the 3d map guide, as same principles. :) Title: Re: let's talk about multiplayer maps Post by: illidan on January 27, 2016, 05:00:53 PM i am thinking of the size of the battle map should be the rules book said 48 inches by 72 inches ( 120 cm x 180 cm) but it is design for battle top game with paused turn and action by the way it allows the cavalery unit to charge on turn 2 and allows war machine to fire one or two times before being charged my guess is to find the size that achieves this result |
