Warhammer challenges - 1st challenge "no artillery"

Hello,
I cannot bring a new topic on this forum without starting by a huge "thank you" to the community and all the great mods added to the game. I feel like coming after the battle, but I would like to participate, I will check later how
For the moment, I am back to the old games SOTHR & Dark Omen to challenge myself. The first challenge I wanted to try is to finish both games without canons/mortars!
SOTHR checked! Final battle on youtube:

Dark Omen: I just destroyed the black grail, so pretty close now.
Meaning, we could try even harder (I am considering without distance firing, or without mages). If people are up to the challenge let me know! It brings so much satisfaction to play that well, instead of depending on a direct hit of the canon, it is important to place correctly the cavalry to surprise ennemies with a beautiful charge!
Hear ya

Hi and welcome, appreciate the praise as it really encourages modders to spend their precious time making Dark Omen even better. Great challenge and enjoyed the SOTHR vid.
Along the same lines, Fair Omen is a really well balanced multiplayer mod that increases the costs of artillery and tough troops, so helps creates more balanced battles.Hope to see on Game Ranger soon, after you complete the campaigns.

Glad you are still around! I finished the campaign without artillery - check! I will make a new reply with some numbers.
I have downloaded Game Ranger, do you have by any chance the latest list of active players so I can add them as friends ?
In the meantime, i will challenge myself on the goblin campaign and i will record the playthrough.
