Hi everyone,

Like many Im just another player that really enjoyed the original game. I see some folks got together and created some additions for further play and have always wanted to partake of the efforts these individuals made.

Can I ask that someone provide step by step instructions to make use of these additions IE: The Remake Project

I am just a casual PC user running windows 7

Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Dark Omen Community, it's a great time to Join ->

http://forum.dark-omen.org/introduction/great-time-to-join-t696.0.html

There have been a few whole game engine remake projects that remain incomplete but I live in hope.

However, we have loads of new sprites and alternate single player campaigns

http://en.dark-omen.org/downloads/2.-modifications/4.-campaigns/1.-singleplayer/index.html

and I'm busy working on new maps but progress is slow manually editing terrain height maps but hopefully we will be able to auto generate them soon, which would allow loads of new maps for whole new campaigns.

We generally meet up every last saturday of each month to play each other in a friendly tournament using Game Ranger and I'm on there most nights to get new players started.

Hope to see you on the battlefield soon!

Excellent! I will try to be available and not be a liability when the gaming begins.

In a couple of weeks time we can start Tournaments again, as I'm busy adding Dark Omen Expanded sprites into the new Army List mod, so we can all try it. I'm on Game Ranger nearly every night, if you want to test.
