Hey guys ive found a new game thats lots of fun if you like big strategy games

Victoria 2

It starts the game in 1836 and all independent nation can be picked and with a little editing any minority can be freed and played like Norway, Poland and Mongolia

Other smaller nations can be united into a strong nation like Germany and Italy

Im currently playn as Liberia (freed from USA)

I took Sierra Leone from the UK early in the game and have used the Diamond trade to build my economy and finance all wars in Africa involving an African nation (Liberia, Algeria, Morocco, Tripoli, Egypt, Ethiopia and Sokoto)
As a result 3 African nations still stand strong and myself Liberia, Sokoto and Ethiopia defeated France in a colonial war that got me Ghana and the Ivory Coast.

I moved on to help Ethiopia to occupy Oman and Yemen, they got Oman i took Yemen. But i had to give up the occupation of Yemen due to the high cost to maintain an army so far away and many rebels rose against me so i made Yemen into a Dominion, so i retain control but they rule themselves.

In an effort to save the last corner of Morocco i had to occupy it and annexed Rabat into my Empire.

When USA declared war to stop my expansion and disarm my huge army. I used the excuse to send my navy and a 130k troops to Haiti (USA's Ally) and annexed Haiti in a 2 year battle for Haiti.

I am also tryn to squeeze a small colony in between the Venezuelan and Sokoto colonies in central africa.

At the moment there are many many rebels as can be seen in Russia, many nations has gone socialist and communist Denmark and Tuscany to mention a few.

Catalonia has become independent, Switzerland has been united, Germany has been United, Poland has been United, Finland and the Baltic states has broke out as Russian satellite states.


At the game start in 1836 Germany is split into small states and ofcz neither Poland nor Finland even exist.

currently i have a minus lol but it will change i am building Forts in exposed provinces

but i have saved up 2.79 million which is an insane amount bigger national reserves than UK, USA and France combined
so yeah a very strong economy.

The Polotical Menu

Here you can read on the Parties and make reforms, i have made a few but then funny enough the conservative party is against all reforms

You dont directly control the government just kinda decide the direction you want things to go
but too much of the same is dangerous, any party that gets too strong can try to overthrow a democracy and on the other hand also change a dictatorship into a democracy.

I am currently fighting a rising socialist/communist popularity and also their rebels who has taken to arms on more than a few occation but with 700k government soldiers its not easy to be a rebel

Several counties has not been so lucky however, Spain esp has been victim of many rebels and many coups.

As you can see my main population Africa Minor and Kru is a minority in the empire lol

Diplomacy Menu

Here is shown the 8 Great Powers they can do cool things such as make smaller states part of the sphere and such gain some control over them, they can also colonized unclaimed land and force smaller states to abandon their allies.

The next 8 are Secondary Powers they can colonize also but not any other cool stuff

The rest are civilized they can become Secondary if they get strong enough

the weakest are uncivilized they can not build industry nor good army units

My Liberia is currently the 13th strongest nation is the world

i heard that this game very hard, lots of recources to keep in account and other factors.

my friend gave it up after he was unable to unload his Japan militaries from the ships, despite he tried it dozens of times and even googled for it but find nothing.

it is hard at first but its easy when you get the hang of it
i had to go thru the tutorial, i dont normally but for this game i had to.

The most important is the budget and the political menu's

lol you have to use the load/unload button on the ships menu  


Ive since my posts got a small civil war on my hands 1,3 million communist rebels, luckily they are badly armed, untrained and poorly lead.
Portugal wasnt so lucky and the Portugese flag has changed the royal coat of arms with a hammer and sicle lol

I assume the Russian flag in the early stages of the game is the Czars flag, the austrian flag is also strange, Yellow and Black. If Prussia unites Germany it changes flag to Germany's ww1 flag.

lol the communist's are gonna try to make social reforms, like maximum work hours and minimum wage and state run industry all things that will cost money

I just saved Uruguay from communist rebels and annexed Uruguay to protect them, same as i done for Haiti and the Domonican Rep. Now isnt that really nice of me?
