1) the command squad can make some order in your lines (your run away unit ) or allows reaction of mobile fire support if your front is pierced
2) the line tank is a versatile medium in everything but not invincible, maybe one of your main core unit with infantry
3) the unmovable fortress makes inaccurate fire support at long range and some 12 shots of very inaccurate short-range arrows
4) The scout team provides to move behind the walls to direct fire the support teams, infantry, melee tanks, and tanks specialist (Blizard and terror)
5) The walls are good for protecting your supports mortar fire team, allowing them to do their indirect and unfocus shooting to your slow enemy units
6) the terror tank can scare an enemy unit with magic except the kamikaze truck (immune magic) or with is screaming catapult ammo
7) blizard tank can immobilizes an enemy units with magic except the kamikaze truck (immune magic) and stop / disrupt the offensive of your opponent
heavy tanks are used to stabilized the front and to fixe the enemy units (or counter attack if a enemy unit is too close / slow movement don’t help them)
9) the kamikaze truck must seek the most profitable target to bomb or the most strategically advantageous (walls, melee tanks, fortress, ....) fragile but fast
10) the teleporter tank can appear behind the enemy front to distract the opponent and make some threat before get kill
11) supports tanks are mobile fire support , inaccurate but give a good mortar barrages to disrupt the enemy assault (very effective against infantry)
12) the melee tank seeks for glory in bloody and hand to hand fight , don’t let them meet you, can flame the wall and the fortress
13) the infantry is not resistant but mobile and have some close fire power . use it to delay to your enemy offensive
i made this topic to get some feed back for an idea, i have to create a world of tank mod for Dark Omen.
