It's been a looooong time i heard the words "Dark Omen".

I'm one of the "vets" Nagash (or harlotsumthin) was talking about.
I played a *lot* on ovotech, but that's ... 9-10 years ago.
It's been a long time i didn't post anything in English, so please be patient with my writing =D

I'm waiting to see what's that new stuff you did here.
I'll try in the next few days.

See you soon Shocked

Welcome Gil-Galad. I guess you received my messages.

We had a Tournament yesterday. Your old friend HarlotsEvisceration got 3rd Place!

He told me you were the BEST player of Ovotech... in that time of course (now you might be rusty).

Are you looking for shinning again? Cheesy  Here is the website!

PS: Olly posted first!! noooo (omnipresent)

That's a bit harsh Gil. You were playing longer than most other players. =p

This is Nagash. It's been a long time.

I like the 3/10 5/15 rulesets, simple easy to follow and seems reasonably balanced. I like fair omen too, though it needs some minor cost adjustments (bright mage, mage items) and some unit tweaking, like the scorpion/dwarfs.

Our Dost rules over at ovotech were an attempt at online balance, while keeping the armies true to WHFB, eg wood elves not using fire due to the damage it would cause to their forest. In the end, it became overly confusing to make armies, due to the huge restrictions of each army.

I'm glad to see more Ovotech guys here! Yeah, instead of going for one Ruleset to Rule Them All we've sort of generated quite a number of them: there is one for every taste. That said, the most popular and appreciated ones seems to consistently be the simplest (3K/10 and 5K/15). Still I hugely enjoyed the DOST rules in the days! Smiley

Wow, such a long time since I've heard these names and battled my brothers on Ovotech. I wasn't aware anyone still played after the fall of our site. Would love to play or catch up with the old group...

Welcome Ovotech veteran, it's a great time to rejoin as we now have mod tools to allow for new maps and armies!
