Well its late and im tired, but I have to introduce myself after having stumbled onto this site. I have played both DO and SotHR since they came out on the PS1 (SotHR my fav). I still play them on my PS3 upscaled, I absolutley love these game. I glanced at some of the mod stuff going on here and am very excited, though a little confused.
Are you guys still working on stuff?

Hi and welcome, yeah they were amazing games to have come out on the PS1 and such a shame Dark Omen wasn't link up multiplayer like the PC version (as promised).

You arrive at a great time as all necessary mod tools have been completed to allow new maps, armies, 3d heads etc.

New map
http://forum.dark-omen.org/maps/mark-of-chaos-map-modding-t1369.0.html;msg13770#msg13770

New 3d heads
http://forum.dark-omen.org/3d-scenery-models/portrait-meshes-t1227.0.html;msg13802#msg13802

New armies
http://forum.dark-omen.org/troops/warhammer-armies-dwarfs-t1331.0.html;msg13640#msg13640

We are currently adding in some of the new Dwarf heads into the Dwarf Adventures that can be found in the latest Mod Pack that contains many other alternate campaigns (play as Chaos Dwarf, Greenskins).

Latest Mod pack and Help guide to install and play Dark Omen on win7/8/10 in full 3d mode
http://forum.dark-omen.org/help-section/ultimate-dark-omen-xpvistawin7win81win10-game-fixes-t111.0.html

All new stuff is being added to the Dark Omen 2 mod that already includes Dark Elves, Dwarfs, Skaven, Wood Elves & a giant etc. and will expand over time.

Heya MeteorBear!

Still got my copies on the ol' ps1 though the PC versions trump them for the most part (though you wont have to jump through hoops to get the PS ports to run hehe)

Just wait till you get to play the fan made content, blew my socks off at what's been done and looking forward to more. Grin

Alright I am ready to go!
I tried out the Dark Omen Expanded campaign and multiplayer, just the campaign though. Game looks great, and the squig riders were awesome! Not sure who the guys I was useing were supposed to be though. In my army roster it says they were the mercenary crossbows, but in battle they look like dwarven crossbows. The Grudgebringer infantry were different too, look like axemen or something but shot bows.
Are all the campaigns shown in the mod selection finished? Any recommendations on one I should start with?

Cool, glad you are up and running. Dark Omen Expanded (DOE) was made before many of our advanced mod tools, compared with Wood Elves and Dwarf Adventures, that we are currently adding more new Heads to.
