But I looked in the sound - music folder.
In there I have 02BTTL001 going up to 02BTTL41. And another one starting with 02BTTL001 going up to 02BTTL51.

These are one of the two battle music, that starts as soon you have deployed your troops, and the battle starts.

The one I linked to for the youtube video (chase) is called 01CHAS001 and goes up to 01CHAS058.

So by this I can only assume this is why Chase is not being played as battle music.
Any way around this? Is it possible to convert the youtube link into a .SAD and replace that as 02BTTL001?

Hi,

Step 1 of the guide states to install Dark Omen into C:\Program Files (x86)\ and you have it installed on the E:\Warhammer so follow the guide

I never had this music here once battle starts.

Even the final battle against the dread king, I just get the default same battle music.

This is my regedit:

I fired up my original cd. And the entire sound folder I have on my drive, is exactly like the one from cd.

Is the different music triggered for a situation?
Is there a way to force certain music to play?

Rick Priestley interviews by Filmdeg Miniatures, regarding history of creating the Warhammer rule books. Good to hear his favourite was 4th Edition like Dark Omen. Smiley

Hi and welcome,

1.) Check you're using the correct version of dgvoodooo 2.6.3 as the newer versions don't apply their settings.

2.) Also check antivirus isn't blocking dgvood2 control panel

3.) Check that dgvood2 control panel is using the correct path, as should be applying setting to C:\Program Files (x86)\Dark Omen\PR_Eng and not C:\Users\...\AppData.

4.) Tick and untick the watermark setting to test that the settings are being applied and then try different screen resolutions.

Firstly can I say thank you to all the guys who have contributed to the mod pack, it's amazing to be able to play this game again.

I followed all the instructions and have got the game running in full 3d, cursor etc in Win10 x64.

My only issue is the bottom 1-2cm of the window is cut off. This wouldn't be a major issue except it means you can't see the banners of regiments that are off screen during gameplay. It's also the part of the screen where the dgVoodoo watermark would be.

I have tried playing around in dgVoodoo but the settings don't seem to do anything. But if I launch not in 640x480 compatibility mode, it loads in a small window top left and shows the watermark.

Incidentally the movies also don't play, but I'm less bothered about that.

Any ideas or help gratefully received. I'm running a core i3 thinkpad with intel HD on board graphics.

Thanks.

Yeah ATi was always worse than NVIDIA, I had the same with Operation Flashpoint on a 256mb Radeon and had to swap to NVIDIA Geforce and never used them again.
You should be able to find a cheap Win98 setup with NVIDIA card.
