Rules of the Day
One army made from each of the 3 races, one may be changed.
In the group stage all 3 armies may be used up to 2 times each
The players will each pick a map and if its a 3 battle match agree on the 3rd map
In case of equal points its the individual battle that counts
If still equal then a sudden death match is played
In the final stages every race may only be used once per each best of 3 battle

Confirm - 9k Fair Omen but with so many different Great Rulesets, I may start to select them instead, since we haven't played DOE for awhile and other Rulesets don't get played either. I'll definetly dig out Rob's Beta Mod installer that we previewed with Flak's Goblin Campaign, as it switches the Registry to look at alternate mod folders to maybe handle Rulesets. We can also run Mid-Month Tournaments on the 2nd Saturday of each month and please remember we now meet on Thursdays and Sundays to play for fun and I know all the new members appreciate having more players online to battle and learn from.

@Olly: Yes, Middle month Tourneys its ok, (Wkurwiony and me are in favor), but if intention is to play the other rulesets, with the thursdays and sundays its ok.
Example: Wku vs Me, we play some FO battles and then NB after a small break.


@Alavet: My forever 9k choice (if possible) has a good reason.

Watching replays you understand that the real player max skill is shown when is given 8-10 regiments + Items on battlefield. Lets say that its "Dark Omen at his Max capacity", so the differences between players become greater or at least, its shown on replays who can turn the tide to his favor.

What I dislike of 3-5 k battles, is that a single mistake, or even worst>> a bad luck moment, can decide the game.
Example: 9k Armies, if 2-3 reg of right side start fleeing, you can move your 2 cavalry reserves from east, to protect the weak hole on right, etc. you get my point, the important thing here is to have many regiments. (min 7-8 to 10).

The tactical-strategical view its also nicer for making videos (Epic Match may happen if circunstances show up, like yours vs Flak in a previous FO tournament).

I probably can't participate because my boss said I have to work that day:(:(:(:(.

Yeah. So, I'm a dick, and I have to cancel, because I have to go see a man about a book tommrow afternoon and what with one thing and another I totally forgot we had this on.

Totally my bad, no excuses what so ever, feel kinda terrible, but to late to cancel on the other guy now, and I can't leave him standing in the middle of a field.

(Gosh darn it, am I ever going to be able to finish one of these? Out of time the first time, technical difficulties the second, now clashing commitments. I swear, I'm gonna get you one day...)

Indeed. It doesnt matter how good you play... a weak army will always lose vs a good army.

Analyzing battles, I think 50% is in the Army comparison, and 50% is in the Gameplay comparison...

Of course that LUCK takes part in as important factor: its included in the 50% gameplay, which is not really gameplay, referring especially to being able to take advantage of it or respond fast to the new situation.

This tournament was crazy, i lost all battles and not pass next phase of tourny, alavet lost , olly reached 2nd place and flak won , that is okay, but i ... i disapointed myself, and olly impresed me! killing jeronimo! haha good good,
