Post by: Ghabry on December 12, 2009, 10:55:37 PM
Found an interesting difference between attacking and defending helmgart I never noticed before:

Attacking Helmgart:

Defending Helmgart:

btw is there anybody defending the castle and missing the Book of Ashur thx to this? ^^

@Mika:
I used NewBoids engine because your map viewer needs a Runtime and windows doesnt tell me which ;). Tell me a solution (except installing Visual Studio)

Nice!
Never noticed that before, then again, that can come from the fact that I have never played that particular map from the defending side a great number of times.
After all, defending Bogenhafen is so much fun in the campaign, not to mention the first ever map I played in Dark Omen (The demo if you remember  ;D )

I think that damage was made by the Necromancer when he assaulted the keep.
Or the troops defending it did it themselves!
(Captain: -The Keep is lost, Master Engineer Klaus, set the fusion reactor to overload, they shan't take us alive!)

Mr Shadow.

that is obviusly, because if you stay to defend the church , the undead siege hemglart, you should know taht if hear what the man with one eye say, before choosing if defend the curch or not.

dito because when defending all undeads rush you and when you attack always only a few undeads attack you (and you can kill most of them before they even attack with a cannon :D)
