Title: I see double
Post by: Grend on April 18, 2009, 08:52:11 AM
Before using the patch I had the usual black parts.
But after patching it I have started seeing double!

I can still see the terrain (buggy prntscrn)
But there is two pictures, one half the size of the other.

The Crashfix.
I`ve tried them both and both works equally bad.

Could you provide a screenshot of your Dark Omen Graphics Options please

and list what operating system Xp/Vista/Vista64 and Monitor etc

As i've seen this happen when i was testing 3D mode (swapping from 3D to CPU)

and since it wan't double vision before (just black back ground), then there is Hope

that it can be Fixed. I advise following the guide but after uninstalling the Game (Clean Reg)

Did you try auto adjust the computer monitor?

Either your graphic card has some problems or your Monitor isn't supporting this resolution.

Do you have an exact idea what exactly stopped being double?

I think it had something to do with the resolution on the Asus EEE computers.
It is 1024 * 600 instead of 1024 * 768, and I think this caused some kind of error.

I`ll try to illustrate the effect.
First imagine a normal screen displaying Dark Omen.
Then take the normal screen, make it halve its width vertically and paste it on top of the first screen with about 50 % opacity. That is what I saw when I played the game. Kind of like the picture in my first post, only with the Dark Omen battlefield in the black space.
