Title: Old Grizzled Veteran, back from the Dead! Post by: Mr Shadow on March 20, 2009, 09:03:30 AM Well, Hello Dark Omen Fans! Am I happy to have found you, this game have been collecting dust far to long!
By the way, I am not sure that this is the right place for this topic, nevermind that will sort itself out... So I have been able to get this awesome game up and running again thanks to your exellent patch and advice (I play on WinXP) And I am just itching to get into the thick of it! My life's story and challenges to duels in Multiplayer, I leave to another time, however; The question I would be very grateful for an answer is as follows: Is there some way of playing Dark Omen with full graphics? The gameplay as of now is not quite a sight for sore eyes is it? I played this game on an old computer of mine some 7 years ago, and it workt wonderful 8), but that computer is dead and buried :'( -rest in peace. I can get used to the visuals if I have to but what I miss is this: When using 3D, the casualties would stay on the map! It was simply glorious ;D To solve this problem, are there any Windows emulators that can fix this, or are there another solutions? As far as I know there is no solution in Windows XP to play the game in 3D. You need an old graphic card+old drivers for 3D but if I remember correctly they don't work with WinXP Title: Re: Old Grizzled Veteran, back from the Dead!
