Warhammer Dark Omen Forum

Hello,

Trying to get this great game to work on my Win10. Installation runs fine (used an ISO from my CD), did everything as the game fix here on the forum said and the game seems to be working, but for some reason the cursor doesn't change to the "in game" version and no matter how much I move the mouse it doesn't highlight any of the options in the menu! Basically can't do anything in game.

Also tried to update the registry with both files DO Registry fix and Virtual Store.
Checked the options on Registry for:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\Dark Omen\1.0\Options\Options
    "Selected"="1"
    "SoftwareSelected"="228"

Tried different compatibility options for XP, Vista and 7 nothing helped.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi and welcome, the first line of the guide states not to use .ISO so have messaged you. Its probably created separate registry entries in a different location which the registry fixes wont apply to that location.
