Here is an interesting tech demo movie about a "new" technic called "Image Metrics".

It is a little less impressive than it seems, because it is a face mesh pasted on top of a real actress, so her body is real life human, but the face is replaced.

Yeah, sure, but I think this technic is a good step to a "real" looking face. You can "use" few actors and create for example a whole game with them by replacing their faces (and seriously the face looks good imho ;)).

Hell yea  :o!!  amazing tech! C'mon Mika don't be lazy, you must make the portraits on Bright Portents with this technology!! i bet it must be just push some buttons over here and there  ::)...just jocking  ;) . But really, if i see the portrait of a Ghoul ,make with that tech, scream to me "CHAAARGE!" i turn of the computer and start running blocks away from my house, hahahah  ;D
