If we're serious, we hadn't had any changes on the homepage since months(years?). Ghabry will add the last campaigns soon and then I wonder, what should we do after?

DJLeBomb had some nice ideas with shortkey references etc. but this is only a small area. So this topic is for collection new ideas what we should add to the homepage. There is only one condition: It have to be related directly to Dark Omen (for example we'll definitely not add a SotHR section). So please give us ideas, feedback and wishes.

Ghabry and I discussed a little bit about the page and we had really similar suggestions:

Definitely changes:

• refactoring the download section (make it easier for us, there shouldn't be a change for the "common" user)
• finish developing the ladder system to make it useful (atm it's really crap)
• clean up all contents

Potential changes: (Here you can veto it, if you say a good reason)

• Remove the profile from the main page (did somebody ever used it?)
• Remove the PM system from the main page and link to the forum
• Perhaps we synch the logins at all pages (unsure)

Feel free to discuss (and yes, we would really appreciate if you post your suggestions and ideas!)

i think we need to create Full new player guide on the top of website AND top of the forum.
need to combain:
1) link to downloaded latest map patch.
2) how to find games in hamachi channel
3) how to find current rulesets (5/15, FO, Conquest, etc)
4) gentlement agreement (your topic bembe)
5) list of most "balanced" maps and link to the view of full maps.

i think it wil be very nice for new members

That is a good idea, we'll add it to the site. But we hope, you're patience, we (I) are very busy atm and I have not enough time to make it in the next few days.

(But I have already written some text for it, sadly not enough :()

by the way, do you have some banner of this site/forum avaliable? i think you need to promote this site via other strategic resources to get more players? or you can also add up really small portion of ad there to make this project at least not much costly for you... i dont feel any about about some small ads there..

At the moment he have only the banner at the top of the page, cause I suck in graphic design, so I have to ask everytime a friend, if he can help me out :(  Perhaps we can find here anyone who is good in graphic stuff?

To your suggestion with the advert, we had some good offers for advertising on the page, but we declined, cause I don't like advert in the web and atm we can pay the fee for the project ;)

Oh, missed that phrase. Any moovies made by players are welcome? Or the best from the best will show how to deal with undead in 4-th chapter?

At the moment Ghabry make the movies, and I think, he had all done, but not uploaded yet. But what we search for are text ;) if you look at the old campaigns, the text is really ugly and sometimes not translated. So we would be very happy, if everyone who find errors or had a better text, will send us a mail with his suggestions.

Looking forward to see the mission were spelleater shield is located.

Yes the number of posts decreased but we still have 200-300 every month. I think this is a good result.
