Ah i love this game but its not as hard as it use to be hehe

just played the Hand of Nagash... now thats a mean chariot that is, usually it plows into my poor regiments
but not this time, i had luck to defeat all chariots at range even the Hand, so 11 men lost in the entire battle.
The only enemy to charge my ranks was the wrights and a few heavily decimated skeleton warriors.

This is all so good

So let me ask what Ragnars Wolves think they are doing fleeing the battle with only 1 man lost and he was lost when they where routed by 6 wrights in the first charge of the game...........the previous map they did the same also to just a few wrights attacking them. When i say fleeing i mean white flag and all, the Greatswords also fleed that battle with no losses at all. So despite being abandoned by my troll fighting fearless cavalry it was fun lol

My best tactic against those dammed Chariots is to make my Regiments charge just before they can charge. Sometimes regiments do really well sometimes they just give in.
I had my Swordsmen fight and defeat an undead chariot with only 5 losses.

The worst was once in the Axbite Pass where an undead chariot charged and destroyed my poor cannon in its charge. Needless to say i was disappointed  hehe.

I used the Banner of Wrath+Mortar to kill them, so most Chariots died before they arrived.

yes the banner of wraith is a good weapon but i find the mortar too slow to hit the fast chariot

Just a question: What about a whole walkthrough ? It just stops ..
Also i dont agree with many of those tactics.
(I played this game several times to the end)
And as a suggestion: What about a review of all the troops, their strenghs and weeknesses ...
I'd join such a work ( If i'v got time)

PS:I just use Osiris' Staff , Banner of Wrath (both carried by icemage) and the firemages spells (eg:Flamestorm , Crimson Bands ) to stop charriots quickly.(only three units -->dies quite quickly)
 So the mortars free to target anything big (large number of enemies, not so fast)

But the walkthrought in't the "perfect" way of playing only a little help for users. So there are many other and perhaps better tactics to solve Dark Omen.

btw olly ive messed aboot with that virtual pc and i wont work until i get my new hardware, my computer is terribly slow and worn down i think. I can only just play FM2008 and DO with graphic flaws but i love DO so i play anyway haha

If you find Omen to easy slip back in time a little further with shadow of the horned rat.

dont you just love when am undead chariot charges your shaman but the last "brain bursta" hits the horse and its killed 5mm  infront of the shaman hahaha
