Hi, first post here. I used to play Dark Omen back in the day, and I was really happy to see that DO has an active community after all these years, and I can’t wait to try all the new campaigns included in the latest modpack.

I followed the installation instructions on this forum, and got the game running on my Windows 10 laptop with a GeForce 750m graphics card. However, I am only able to run it in CPU mode, since 3D mode is grayed our in the options menu. Could anyone here help me with this? I remember the game looking a lot better in 3D mode.

Hi and welcome, unfortunately 3d mode only works with high end graphics cards such as NVidia GTX range. However, you can try using the dgvoodoo 2.45 emulator

http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2.html

Copy and paste the dgVoodooSetup.exe, MS D3DImm.dll and DDraw.dll into your Dark Omen PRG_ENG folder

and Rob found pcem also works

I had been using dgVoodoo v2.54, which didn't seem to work, but running v2.45 in administrator mode did the trick! Thank you for your help!
