For me I would prefer chaos dwarfs as a first choice and wood elves as my second, but I wouldn't mind playing another race if these wouldn't be available.

wow so many players  Grin
I think i personally will not play a nation, as this form of conquest demands more from me as GM, i also will have battles to play as GM since alot of the beginning of the game will be battles player vs GM but if any player should find himself unable to play for a shorter or longer while i can cover.


I hope not all the rules are bla bla bla

In a nut shell
Earned gold by taxing the land and win battles to get more armies or build improvements to again further the tax or get more armies

Conquer more land by attacking unclaimed or declare war and attack another player.

If you win a battle buy back the dead but not dead regiments until you re-fit the army
If you lose and the army is too weak disband it and buy a new

SO we will set the start date at August 21st, i have 3-4 days of work then so very suitable for me as i will no doubt have a kinda busy time on my hands first few days

all wizards are wizards
dwarves have a wizard
Trolls prices kept low and trolls back to normal stats
all off prices now x99 instead of x02
Goblin prices uniformed
Brettonia has a few improvements (considering adding a Knights Captain Units with 3 strong hero knights)
NO units have starting items or spells
Banshee now a 5 troop wraith unit
Savage Orcs has no blodlust but are faster than normal orcs and no armor


I still have some trouble with Ogre's
i thinking they should a 3 troop Leadbelchers instead of just 2 as the ST Cannon has short range and bad aim
maybe a 1 troop rock tosser (cannon)
Im also thinking the goblins have too few options maybe a new unit for them

Rule addition

a situation i didnt consider but that i think we will face shortly

in the War rule section

Skirmish
A Skirmish is what happens when 2 nations enter the same unclaimed land, but are not at war. The 2 armies will fight eachother and the winner will then have to fight the local army but it will work like a multi battle, so the rule about dead regiments will apply as explained in the multi-battle section. Despite being involved in armed combat, the result is not a war, consider it more like a border dispute.

RULE CHANGE

Please note the new rules regarding cities

Build time 1 turn, cost down to 1000 gold, income up to 300 gold

Keep and caste also has reduced time and cost


Another Good Reason to build roads

Defensive Attack
This type of battle is only possible if you have 2-3 lands connected with road. If enemies attack your lands and you have less armies that the attacker then dont worry, since its your land you may use the roads and use the 2 movement the road offers and make 2 defensive attacks along the road. If the land your army is in is attacked it may be as many as 3 battles, but they are in different lands and are not multi battles.

please discuss the rules and changes in this topic and keep the Battleground clear of spamming

while we are at petition i vote for adding bull centaurs some armour as every cav got at least 2(mounted) which is in fact 3? :] c'mon give a little guy a break and do it ^^

i spose i can see sense in that, dwarves would most likely armor their armies and i think all other dwarf units have a armor max of 3 or 4

Gah it's the 3rd turn and already my moneys way off Sad flak could you check my works.  my brain hurts.

3000gp - start
built 2 roads = -300gp (they were 150 gp each then)
=2700
invade 1st battle

turn 2
capital + 2 land with roads  + new land
500 + 2x150 +100
2700 + 900
=3600

buy 1 city 1 mine 1 road
3600 - 1000 - 1000 - 200 = 1400
invade 2nd battle
-------
This turn
tax :500 + 450 + 450 + 150 + 100 = 1650
total: 3050

i changed the income and cost of cities so this is the real one

Price list----------------cost--------------build time--------Upkeep-------Income
Cities/Mines/Tower-----1000 gold----------1 turn----------------------------300 gold
Road-------------------200 gold-----------1 turn-----------------------------50 gold
Farmland/Mana Vortex--500 gold-----------1 turn-------------100 gold
Keep-------------------900 gold-----------1 turn-------------300 gold
Castle-----------------1500 gold----------2 turns------------500 gold

and a Land always give 100 gold per turn

so 1 land with a city and road will give 450 gold (land=100+city=300+Road=50)

capitol counts 500+100 from its land ? or only 500 ?

and also if i dont move army in turn order 1-2 can i refit it in 3-6 ? or do i have to wait for next turn order 3-6 ?
and when can i give money to one of my armies ?

Edit1: I'm getting different totals than everyone else.  Do you miss a turn of tax while stuff is built/after stuff occupied til you get the tax?

Edit2: No that still doesnt work i still get wk at over 3k.

yeah ive made a mistake in my post i didnt count 100 from lands that had something on it, so im currently at 2200 not 1800 ;p

btw i have a question flak, refiting happens in the same turn when i didnt moved (lets say i didnt move in turn 3 order 1-2, no we go to order 3-6 phase can i refit now ?) or in a next turn ? so it basicly is 2 turns of not moving as i can make changes in order 3-6

also about giving money to an army, does it have to be in the capitol ? or only in land with road leading to capitol ?

capitol is 500 incl the land tax, but maybe that is difficult to calculate so may i should specify it as Capitol: 400, Land:100
then its 500 but easier as you can count the lands and dont have to remember to not count the capitol land

I've created a excelspread sheet you can use to keep track of your dosh.

The only columns you need to edit are b,c,d for buildings, and L for arm creation/returning money.

I've made the capital a seperate entity, so you start with 2 lands and a capital.
